Paediatric Care
From growth health check and nutrition assessment, to specialised services in improving your child’s relationship with food and their experience at the table. Let’s see how we can help your child together!
Family-based sessions
Making health changes as a family can be challenging. Taking the time to understand the different needs within a family can make the journey more enjoyable and effective.
What does treatment look like?
1) The comprehensive assessment typically ranges from 1-2 sessions, depending on the reason for sessions and what you are hoping to get out of the sessions. Exploration of treatment options and plan is discussed collaboratively with you and your child (yes! Including your child who hasn’t learnt to speak yet, there is still a lot we can learn from them!)
2) Families who have completed an assessment and are ready to take action on the treatment plan discussed will then typically receive bite-sized information and practical strategies to focus on weekly – fortnightly. This will then slowly transition to monthly sessions. For more preventative or early treatment approaches, sessions will typically be provided on an as-needed basis.
